The Force team consists of officers and staff from Northumbria Police, who are all members of Northumbria Police Sports & Social Club. The team play in the Police Sport UK National Cup the newly formed National Plate. We also play a series of friendlies throughout the football season. The team won the National Cup in 2006, and reached the semi-final in 2010. The team also enjoyed success in Magherafelt, Northern Ireland in 2010 winning the Battle of the Badges six a side competition. We are always on the lookout for new players, so anyone wishing to join in must be a member of the Sports & Social Club and contact Paul Oley as per the below details:
